And My Non-Appearance on Law & Order
By Less Than Six Degrees of Separation
(As a Murderer!)
The story for the May 7, 1997, Law & Order episode titled "Passion" (S7, E21) was co-written by Richard Sweren. My father was a lifelong friend of Richard's father, and Vice President/Treasurer of his father's company. As an apparent nod to my dad, the suspected/arrested villainess of this episode is a Mrs. Posner. But in the second of two late plot twists, the murderer actually turns out to be -- her son!
